In this role you will:

- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a home-based setting.

- Teach clients with autism communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting.

- Collect data to monitor the progress of the clients.

- Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.

- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards set by the board and KT-ABA.

- Respect our families’ preferences regarding PPE usage. 

- Communicate clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues.

- Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops in addition to asking questions in order to acquire further knowledge.

We are looking for people who:

-Prefer prior experience in ABA and / or working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disorders / delays but not required.

-RBT certification by the BACB, in good standing (Preferred but can be acquired during the hiring process )

-Are sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children.

-Have the ability to remain calm and neutral in challenging situations with clients.

-Have reliable means of transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance.

-Have the ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods of time and be able to bend, kneel, crouch, and lift weight of up to 50 pounds.

-Have a current and valid CPR certification.

-Have successful background clearance, driving record check, and reference checks.

-Have a high school diploma or equivalent; however, some college experience or a college degree is preferred.

-HIPAA compliance training (can be done during hiring process)

-Fluent English required


What we offer:

-Training on protocols and programming

-Competitive hourly wage $18 (no experience)-$25 (has experience and is able to independently run assessments and provide quality training to new RBTS).

-Self-paced raises- paper work turned in within 30 days of receiving on boarding paper work +$1/hour, fluent bi-lingual +$1/hour, learning new programs and successfully teach the program to another practitioner +$1/hour per program, Graphing client data for minimum  of 5 clients after training +$1/hour, ect… up to $25/hour
